Challenge: Create buzz and media attention around Water Grill, a storied 18-year-old seafood restaurant in downtown LA, to drive increased guest reservations and make restaurant relevant again in today’s ever changing culinary world.
Strategy: Host a media dinner to showcase the new Sunday Clam Bake menu, a nod to the recent trend of family-style dining in white tablecloth restaurants.
Results: To date, as a result of this dinner, we secured placements in Edible Los Angeles, L.A. Weekly, Tasting Table LA, LATimes.com, Grub Street Los Angeles and a segment on “Good Day LA,” to name a few. Additionally, a story in Daily Candy LA lead to 77 reservations within one day of the story running and continues to drive business!
